VEDA

•  What is VEDA?

VEDA is a Not for Profit locally run organization, consisting of animal lovers. Their aim is to rescue stray/ lost animals both off the street and from the pound, nurse them back to health and promote their adoption to the public of Santa Cruz .

Presently, VEDA are looking for more volunteers a we are a fairly new organization and the more help we can get the better!!!

•  What would I do to help as a volunteer?

There are a range of duties/ tasks that volunteers can assist in including the following:

• Walking the dogs
• Bathing the dogs/ puppies
• Feeding the puppies/kitties
• Some cleaning of bedding/ living quarters
• Promoting dogs/ cats up for adoption around town
• Raising money for VEDA
• Assisting in any administration/ marketing, for example- devising fact sheets on each of the animals up for adoption, translating VEDA´s website into another language, distributing pamphlets around town.
